On the map below, any exit not noted as connecting to anything leads to a lost square. Lost squares all look the same, with four exits, do not go anywhere and continuing through them will only get Celica lost in more lost squares, meaning that Celica must go back the way she came to get back on the actual path. Some parts of the Lost Treescape contain exits that do not connect to any actual part of the path, and instead lead to what is called a "lost square".
